A Chartered Physiotherapist treats injuries and diseases by correcting and improving the body’s own natural healing mechanisms. A wide variety of techniques are used to help muscles, joints, nerves and other soft tissues work to their full potential.

Our Physiotherapists use a wide range of skills including mobilisation, manipulation, massage, exercises and acupuncture, sometimes aided by the use of sophisticated electronic equipment – all designed to help in restoring function, relieving pain and promoting healing.

Preventative measures are very important in physiotherapy. The Physiotherapist will spend time teaching you how to avoid recurrence of your problems.

Hi, I’m Scott, a passionate physiotherapist dedicated to helping people move better, feel stronger, and live pain-free. I graduated from the University of Worcester in 2024 with a First-Class Honours degree in Physiotherapy. Alongside my studies, I gained a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sports Massage, which I integrate with exercise-based rehabilitation to provide well-rounded treatment plans.

My Approach to Physiotherapy

My goal is simple—to help people restore movement, build strength, and recover from injuries through a combination of hands-on therapy and personalised exercise programs. During my clinical placements, I gained experience across a variety of settings, including musculoskeletal, paediatrics, neurological, and respiratory rehabilitation. However, my real passion lies in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, where I can make a real difference in helping patients overcome injuries and improve their physical performance.

A Background in Sport

As a former high-level rugby player and lifelong sports enthusiast, I understand the demands of athletic performance and injury recovery. Whether you’re an athlete looking to return to peak condition or simply want to move pain-free, I bring both personal experience and professional expertise to every treatment session. I also love following the latest sports events and never miss a chance to chat about the game!

Beyond the Clinic

Outside of physiotherapy, you’ll often find me out in the countryside enjoying a good walk or on the golf course working on my swing.

If you’re looking for expert care to recover from injury, improve mobility, or enhance performance, I’d love to help.

Hi, I’m Paul, a Chartered Physiotherapist with over 29 years of experience helping people move better, feel better, and get back to doing what they love.

I graduated from Brunel University College (London) in 1995 with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy. My career started at Hammersmith Hospital in London before I moved to Gloucestershire, working at the Princess Margaret Hospital in Swindon. During my six years there, I specialised in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, working closely with orthopaedic consultants and running a clinic in a local GP practice.

In 2000, I took the leap into private practice, initially part-time at Breakspeare Clinic – Chipping Norton while still working in the NHS. But my passion for providing high-quality, hands-on physiotherapy led me to fully transition into private practice in 2002. Ten years later, I took ownership of Breakspeare Clinics in Chipping Norton and Didcot, and later expanded to Cheltenham, where I now live.

A Passion for Movement & Performance.

Before physiotherapy, I completed a Sport Science degree and later earned an MSc in Exercise and Health Behaviour from City University, London. My background in sport is a big part of who I am—I was an international pole vaulter, representing England and Great Britain. I’ve also dabbled in triathlons and marathons, so I truly understand the mindset of athletes and those who love to stay active.

My main interests lie in manual therapy, sports injuries, and rehabilitation. I’m a member of the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Sports and Exercise Medicine and Physio First. Over the years, I’ve completed numerous professional courses, including Kinesio Taping, which I incorporate into my treatments alongside hands-on therapy.

Outside the Clinic

When I’m not helping clients, I love coaching athletics, particularly pole vaulting. I’m a qualified UKA Athletics Coach and an active member of Cheltenham and County Harriers Athletics Club. Beyond sport, you’ll find me out walking, cycling, or behind a camera lens, capturing moments when I have the time!

If you’re looking for expert physiotherapy to help you recover, move better, or perform at your best, I’d love to help.
